How to calculate the required battery capacity:
(Ah K20)

1. Divide the output of the consumer unit
(e.g. 100 W) by the battery voltage (e.g. 12 V).

2. You get the necessary current in amperes
(e.g. 8.33 A).

3. The required current is multiplied by the witch-on time of the consumer unit
(E.g. 6 hours).

4. Result = 60 ampere hours (Ah) x safety factor
(Lead-acid approx. 1.3/gel approx. 1.5)
= battery capacity requirement.

Sample calculation: 100 Watt: 12 V = 8, 33 A x 6 hours = 50 Ah x 1, 4 = 70 Ah.
